Service Description
Want yoga? Breathing exercises? Meditation? Nidra? Or, a combination of all your preferred options? With a bespoke, Build Your Own Self-Care Class - you get to choose what goes into your practice in terms of techniques, pace, goals, theme, and complexity. Whether you're a beginner, have limited mobility, or are a seasoned yogi - these private, one-to-one classes provide the opportunity to work together to overcome any personal challenges faced. For example, perhaps Yoga Asana (physical movement) isn't for you at this time. In which case, you might choose to dedicate your class to Breathing Exercises and Meditation. Or Mindfulness and Yoga Nidra. Or, maybe you're looking to nurture the joints and spine - providing relief from aches and stress in the body and mind. Thus, you might enjoy a slow and gentle Yin or Chair Yoga session. Alternatively, if you'd like to get fit, tone up, detox, or lose weight - you might choose a faster paced Vinyasa Flow style of yoga asana, with some detoxifying breathwork. Whatever your goal is - we will work together to achieve it. When booking your class, we will ask for a little information about you and your goals, to help you get the most out of your practice. Example services to choose from for your class include: - Yoga Asana (Mindful Movement) - Pranayama (Breathing Exercises) - Mindfulness (Awareness of Present) - Meditation (Peaceful Contemplation) - Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation Meditation) - Other Self-Care & Relaxation Practices Plus, there's the option to provide details of any illnesses, injuries, or other ailments / restrictions so that we can include the right exercises and techniques for you. And, you can set your own pace, style, complexity, and intention (such as healing a specific body part, or de-stressing the mind and emotions). These Build Your Own Self-Care Classes are for you, and you alone! So, don't be afraid to tell us what you want - and we'll get to work creating it. *CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE, VIA LIVE STREAM (ZOOM VIDEO) - To book, choose your class duration (30, 60, or 90 mins). Along with your preferred date and time for the class. Then, fill in the booking form. After which, you will receive a link via email, to view and access the class on the day. A reminder will also be set for 1-hour before. - Please allow 2 working days between booking your class and the date you wish to attend, to allow us time to create your session. Booking & Cancellation Policy
All classes can be booked online through our website, via email, or by contacting the Meta Mind Muse Facebook page. Advance booking is recommended to secure your spot. Secure Payments can be made online via the Meta Mind Muse website, or via PayPal and bank transfer upon request. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are subject to a £10 late cancellation fee. Students who arrive late may not be able to join the class. No-shows will not receive a refund. Transfers or rescheduling of classes are permitted before 24 hours of the class start time. Any requests made outside of this time will be subject to the above cancellation terms. If you have any questions or require further information, please contact us via the website contact form, by email, or through the Facebook messaging service. Individual Responsibility All participants agree to take full responsibility for their own health and wellbeing before, during, and after each class to include consulting with relevant healthcare professionals, informing the instructor of any known or potential health conditions, and listening to their own body and mind throughout. As with any physical, mental, or emotional exercise program, it is essential that individual care and responsibility be taken - noting that by agreeing to participate in a class, it may carry risk of injury due to the nature of the practice. By following the instructor's advice, I agree to work only within my own personal limitations - agreeing to adapt practices to suit, taking rest when required, and ceasing practice altogether if deemed unsuitable.
