At Meta Mind Muse, we focus on helping you take back control of your own health and wellbeing. Which means our goal is to assist you in learning as much as possible regarding your own body, mind, and emotions, via gently introspective and somatic yoga practices, so that one day you feel confident enough to 'go it alone'.
As much as this might 'hurt' us as a business financially, to not have you reliant and dependent on us for years on end as you mindlessly attend classes that are impersonal to you and which provide a myriad of unnecessary distractions - seeing you empowered, independent, and able to practice alone, makes it all worth while.
Afterall, yoga when practiced alone, is key - and that is exactly what it was intended for.
Yoga, when it originated (or at least, when it was first documented) around 5,000 years ago, was not meant to be practiced in a group setting. Nor was it about achieving physical 'perfection' (whatever that may mean). Yoga was about stripping back all the distractions - the labels, the comparisons, and the overstimulation that studio and group settings can bring.
Now, that isn't to say that group classes can't be beneficial - far from it! They provide many amazing social benefits that solo practice cannot provide.
On the other hand, that's not what we, personally, are here for.
We're here to help you connect in with your own innate, intuitive abilities via calm and silent reflection.
Therefore, we specialise in providing a more tailored approach.
Currently, we teach online classes and courses - available via livestream and on-demand - allowing you to practice from the comfort of your own home.
And, for those who struggle financially - we also offer free short classes and self care tips via our YouTube channel and Facebook page.
